The Transformer Optimus Prime's Conquests

Optimus Prime is the largest of the Autobot Transformers and the noblest by far. He is a just, fearless and contemplative leader, giving no quarter to his enemies in battle. This stems more from his duty, however, than from his desire, as he is at heart a man (robot) of peace and harmony, and only uses battle as a means to an end. In his current, souped-up incarnation for the Michael Bay-directed Transformers franchise, Optimus is an awesome Peterbilt big-rig truck that transforms into a massive, shimmering warrior of intermittent vibrant blues, reds and silvers. Throughout the three movies, he has shown that the warrior part of him is at least the equal of the philosopher.

In Transformers live-action film of 2007 (the first movie in the three-movie franchise), Optimus Prime faced the gigantic, powerful and hate-filled Bonecrusher. The only life that mattered to this Decepticon behemoth was his own, as it skated through buses filled with humans on a freeway towards his goal, killing them all. It is this kind of ferocity against which Optimus unleashes his brand of justice when he comes up against it. After a short battle in which Optimus grabbed Bonecrusher, dragging the monster with him as they fell a hundred feet to the ground, and bid the shaken Decepticon a good-bye blast to the head after they landed. No quarter asked; none given.

Optimus Prime's next merciless execution would come in Transformers 2 Revenge of the Fallen, although he had plenty of kills in the first movie, they were more of the kill-or-be-killed variety that dominates the heat of battle. During an operation entitled NEST, which was a human-Autobot collaboration intended to weed out Decepticons, a truly gargantuan Decepticon called Demolishor manifested itself, and proved difficult for any other Autobot to even try to tackle. Optimus arrived on the scene from the sky and tackled the beast, beating it into submission. He then pointed his blaster at the still-defiant Demolishor and blew its face off. Judge, jury and executioner.

Optimus Prime, in Revenge of the Fallen, even took on the Decepticons Megatron, Starscream, and Blackout all by himself in a secluded, wooded area. He succeeded in killing Blackout, maiming Starscream; but, was felled by Megatron, where he actually die and be reinvigorated by Sam - using the Cube or All-Spark - at the end of the movie, where yet another battle with Megatron would warm the Decepticon leader up for the finale.

In Dark of the Moon, Optimus Prime had his biggest field day yet at the expense of a traitorous Autobot, as well as the usual evil Decepticons. He single-handedly killed a monster capable of taking down skyscrapers easily, as well the monsters master Shockwave. But Optimus was just warming up to his execution finale: he would go on to put an energy axe clear through Megatron's face, killing his age-old enemy in a manner to ensure he stays dead, and then taking Megatrons own gun, walking over to a downed Sentinel Prime, and blasting his face off even as he pleaded. Optimus Prime: noble warrior, merciless executioner.
